Water Camp Resort Cavite

Before the year ends, may pahabol na lakad kami ni Leonard. So yesterday, we had our day tour stay at Watercamp Resort Kawit, Cavite. Going from Las Piñas, it only took us less than an hour to get into the resort using the Manila-Cavite Expressway. Wala pang gaanong tao nung dumating kami. In fact, it seems that we were the first guests to arrived.

We availed their standard room which cost us Php 2,000. This is good for 12 hours of stay for 2 however only 1 person has a free entrance. Mas maganda sana na ginawa nalang nilang libre yung isa tutal yung room is good for 2 persons naman. Anyway this is one of my sentiments on this resort.

There are 6 pools in the resort - mini wave pool, lazy river, kiddie pool, dunk pool, adult pool and kidney-shaped pool. Since it was holiday, all of their pools are operational including the mini wave pool and lazy river.

Disney on Ice :: Dare to Dream

Yesterday, Leonard and I watched Disney on Ice at Araneta Coliseum. This is the first time that I'll be watching this kind of play (please exclude those ibong adarna days sa school ahaha) and first time to use my Tamron 18-200mm lens. Actually binili ko talaga yung lens para talaga dito. haha. And because I'm still kid at heart, I really enjoyed watching the play. I love how the stage was set-up, I like the seat number that Leonard chose for us, not too near, not too far and there's no problem in buying foods here dahil madaming nagtitinda ng pagkain sa loob. Well, I had actually 3 firsts here, the third one was this is the first time I set my foot at Araneta, hahaha, kamusta naman yun?

Anyway here are some shots of the show using Tamron 18-200 lens:

Strangers by Seven Lions

Nothing more than strangers
Passing by out on the street
Memories are fading though
It's only been a week
All the little things are gone
The things we used to be
Nobody could take us down
There was only you and me

And without you I can't be
You're the universe to me
You're the air in my lungs
You're the fields where I run
You're the sky where I'm floating

It's you, you, you

A trip to Mind Museum

Warning: A long overdue post. Lots of picture!

The last time I went to a museum was during my grade school days. Uso pa yung museong pambata noon para sa field trip (meron pa ba kaya nun?). My recollection of those days are now gone pero alam ko nakapunta na ako doon. I can only recall those moments na sumakay ako dun sa parang helicopter na model and the rest was gone.

Club Balai Isabel Review

13:32 0 Comments A+ a-

Last December 13,2014, my brother got a free accommodation for 6 persons at Club Balai Isabel in Talisay Batangas courtesy of my father's acquaintance. Since the accommodation is valid until only that day, me, being that "sayang naman, tara na libre naman" kinda girl, went ahead with my family without second thoughts. Biglaan lakad 'ika nga. haha. The check-in time was at 3pm so we still have enough time to go there. Our plan was to buy our foods along the way since according to my brother we can bring our own baon. We went there via Tagaytay route (if you'll use this route, be sure that your car is in a good condition).

Review : Canon 100D

Note: This is not a professional review. Just an ordinary user review.

Meet Tidus, my 100d EOS

You see, one of my dilemmas on Zidane (my previous Canon 1100d) is the size and weight. It was hard for me to travel every now and then with Zidane dangling on my neck. Also, the space it took on my bag (since I'm a light packer) is one of my considerations everytime I went out. So one day, I decided to say bye bye to my camera and bought something to replace him. Tadah...(drum rolls please), meet Tidus, my new canon 100d. It's been 3 months since I bought him so I thought I should atleast give a short review for it..hehe

Canon 100d is almost same price with Canon 700d. Considering the features that 700d has, it is smarter to buy it right? But the drawback is the size and weight which I'm after for. And happy that I bought it based on what I really want in a camera. Oh yes, they said that weight and size will not matter once you buy bigger lenses and put it on 100d body. Well, it doesn't matter to me now considering I'm just an ordinary user. The feature that I am after is worth it considering that holding 100d is like holding a digital camera. Putting it in my backpack is not a problem anymore and well, most of all it is still a dslr.

As a buyer, always consider what you really want in a camera or in any other gadgets. So, do I love my Tidus? Of course and I'm not yet saying that I'm closing my doors to those bulky dslrs, I would love to own but I'm contented with Tidus right now.

You can check some sample pictures here using my camera.

Just Love

They say that anything that falls...breaks.  Me? Just take a risk, enjoy life but don't fall in love. Just love. Love unconditionally. Love as if you were never hurt before. Love as if this is the last time. Love as if it's always the first time. Love even if it hurts. Love as if now is the only time you have...

Sol y Viento Review - A celebration with the Sun and Wind

Sorry for the cheesy title. ^_^

Anyway, this is a long overdue post. On August 22, Leonard and I celebrated our monthsary, it's actually a 3 in 1 celebration - my birthday, our monthsary, and Leonard's birthday.

Sol y Viento is one of our top choices in going to Pansol, Laguna. We booked our room via Agoda and chose the Cabana room with indoor jacuzzi. We were very excited on the place and can't wait to spend our weekend there...
