A trip to Mind Museum

Warning: A long overdue post. Lots of picture!

The last time I went to a museum was during my grade school days. Uso pa yung museong pambata noon para sa field trip (meron pa ba kaya nun?). My recollection of those days are now gone pero alam ko nakapunta na ako doon. I can only recall those moments na sumakay ako dun sa parang helicopter na model and the rest was gone.

The Mind Museum @ Taguig

This time, it was a different experience for me. The first time I learned that there is a world class museum in the Philippines, woah, I want to go to that place. The little child in me was excited to see it. So last year (wow naman sa tagal haha), I went to Mind Museum with Leonard, friends palang kami nito at nagde-date palang (haha). And we were lucky because we got a deal from Deal grocer for the tickets!

At the entrance we were greeted by a robot. The name is Aedi. There is no tour guide when we went inside so we just roamed the place ourselves. The place was big though in our tickets we got an all day pass, I think we just stayed for about 3 hours.

Inside the museum:

We didn't noticed that the place was categorized in each area (Atom, Earth, Life, Universe, and Technology). We just headed to what fancies us. Our first stop was the Universe Gallery (naks, parang stop over lang haha):

According to Mind Museum's site: The Universe Gallery showcases humankind’s wondrous fascination with outer space. It features exhibits that show how all of life, as we know it now, found its atomic beginnings in the stars in space. It enfolds visitors in the fundamental elements and forces at play in the universe. The Universe Gallery includes a mini, teaching planetarium that brings guests closer to the wonders of the universe.

Among the 5 galleries, this one is my favorite.

I like this one

Then after the Universe gallery, next was the Earth Gallery:

This is the reason why I want to go in this place- to see this T-Rex. haha

After our educational date (hahaha), we went outside to eat. This is my first time in BGC and I felt like I was in a different place. Parang hindi Pinas, hindi kasi matraffic sa lugar at puro kotse lang nakikita ko (feeling probinsyana lang haha).

To end our Mind Museum trip: Toast box!

I don't really know this resto, Leonard just said that he ate here the last time he was in BGC.

Few people because it was almost End of December

Anong meron at kailangan ganyan ang pag pour? Paki-explain..haha

My order. I forgot the name but I will never forget the taste, Will not try this again,
Leonard's luncheon meat noodles. Better than my order :(
I enjoyed our trip este date. haha. Not the usual date that I think of. I can say that this worth it considering that we got a discount for our tickets. Thank you DealGrocer!

So what are you waiting for? Bring your kids here and I'm sure that they will really love the place. :)
